TOFW Mutare is founded by Masilina Mugadza. I work with women and youth to empower people within communities. I believe in developing teams and the individual through practical skills and with spiritual purpose to develop the self.

Women are natural care givers. On 30 Set 2023 TOFW ZImbabwe held another empowerment day based around supporting women and mental health. Part of the proceeds went to support Island Hospice. Key activities included a recycled fashion safari show . Here recycled fabrics, curtains and discarded bed linen were used to create really stunning new outfits. All of this amongst the beautiful setting of a natural forest.

The assembled women engaged in a study of animal behaviour to think about cooperation and sustainability. we were joined by Dudu Manhenga from Harare who sang and spoke about mental wellness in the music business. Sue Peters spoke on business empowerment for women. Dr Maraire a neuroscientist from Harare spoke by audio recording from Harare. Masilina Mugadza engaged the audience in multiple activities involving reflection on self empowerment and cooperation.

With TOFW i believe strongly in empowering the individual through creative team work. Through “out of the house” challenges and spiritual self development our days are supporting confidence, mental health and leadership. Leadership within families and communities.

My Journey

I have wide business experience in both Australia and Zimbabwe. In Australia I worked for various companies such as insurance and for Virgin Atlantic. I also created the African Heritage Foundation in Sidney that supported local communities in fund raising for linked projects. On returning to Zimbabwe with my husband I set up Ubuntu- a fashionable restaurant in Harare. After some years I turned my attention to training and spiritual support in communities where i work as a pastor and have a deep interest in biblical history. I have two adult children
